Yamila Khodr
Yamila Khodr (AR/DE) ist Tänzerin, Choreografin und Mitgründerin des Berliner Kollektivs 12H Dance. In 2005 absolvierte sie ihr Studium an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main und trat dem Ballet des Saarländischen Staatstheaters unter der Leitung von Marguerite Donlon bei. Seit 2013 arbeitet sie freischaffend unter anderem mit Sommer Ulrickson, Caroline Finn, Teresa Rotemberg und Omar Rajeh. Sie inszeniert Werke von Marguerite Donlon beim Bolshoi Ballet, Ballet Irland und HFMDK. In 2018 gründete sie 12H Dance zusammen mit Moon Suk Choi. “360°” und “Grenz.land” gehören zu ihren International gastierenden Arbeiten.
Yamila Khodr (AR/DE) is a dancer, choreographer and co-founder of the Berlin collective 12H Dance. In 2005 she completed her studies at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts and joined the Ballet of the Saarländisches Staatstheater under the direction of Marguerite Donlon. Since 2013 she has been working freelance with Sommer Ulrickson, Caroline Finn, Teresa Rotemberg and Omar Rajeh. She restaged works by Marguerite Donlon with the Bolshoi Ballet, Ballet Ireland and HFMDK. In 2018 she founded the company 12H Dance together with Moon Suk Choi. “360°” and “Grenz.land” are among her internationally touring works.
