Peggy Mädler

Dr. Peggy Mädler (Labor für kontrafaktisches Denken), 

1976 in Dresden geboren, hat in Berlin Theater-, Erziehungs- und Kulturwissenschaft studiert und 2008 in den Kulturwissenschaften promoviert. Sie arbeitet als freie Autorin, Dramaturgin und Regisseurin sowohl für Stadttheater wie auch freie Performancekünstler*innen (u.a. Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, Stadttheater Heilbronn, She She Pop) und ist Mitbegründerin der Künstlerformation „Labor für kontrafaktisches Denken“, mit der sie theatrale Installationen realisiert (u.a. "Wer(s) glaubt, wird selig", Sophiensaele 2013). Als Autorin schreibt sie für Zeitschriften und fürs Radio, 2011 erschien ihr erster Roman: "Legende vom Glück des Menschen" (Galiani-Verlag, Berlin). Als Dozentin lehrt sie u.a. an der Bundesakademie für kulturelle Bildung Wolfenbüttel, an der Universität Hildesheim, an der Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler, am BARD-College Berlin und am LISUM Berlin-Brandenburg.

Dr. Peggy Mädler (Laboratory for Counterfactual Thinking),

was born in Dresden in 1976 and studied theater, educational and cultural Studies in Berlin. In 2008 she received her doctoral degree in cultural studies. She works as a freelance author, dramaturge and director for city theaters as well as free performance artists (for examples: Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, Stadttheater Heilbronn, She She Pop) and is co-founder of the artist's group "Laboratory for Counterfactual Thinking", with which she realizes theatrical installations (Among others, "who believes (it) will be saved", Sophiensaele 2013). As an author, she writes for magazines and radio, in 2011 her first novel appeared: "Legend of the Happiness of Man" (Galiani-Verlag, Berlin). As a lecturer she teaches at the Federal Academy for Cultural Education Wolfenbüttel, at the University of Hildesheim, at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler, at the BARD College Berlin and at the LISUM Berlin-Brandenburg.
