Brit Rodemund lebt und arbeitet als Tänzerin und Lehrerin für klassischen Tanz in Berlin.

Sie studierte an der Staatlichen Ballettschule Berlin, tanzte als Solistin an der Deutschen Staatsoper Berlin, am Aalto Theater in Essen und beim Ballett Nürnberg. Von 2000-2015 war sie freischaffend tätig und arbeitete u.a. mit Marco Santi, Christian Spuck, Katja Wachter, Nina Kurzeja, Christoph Winkler, Efrat Stempler, Tomi Paasonen, Dansity Amsterdam, Helena Waldmann, MS Schrittmacher und Maya Matilda Carrol. Von 2015 – 2018 war sie Mitglied des Dance On Ensembles unter der künstlerische Leitung von Christopher Roman, auf Initiative von Diehl+Ritter und arbeitete hier mit Lucy Suggate, Matteo Fargion, Rabih Mroué, Kat Valastur, William Forsythe, Deborah Hay, Jan Martens, Johannes Wieland und Ersan Mondtag. Sie unterrichtet seit über 20 Jahren für Tanzkompanien, professionelle Tanzstudios und Universitäten. Seit Mai 2018 ist sie wieder freischaffend als Tänzerin und Lehrerin tätig.

Brit Rodemund is a dancer and teacher based in Berlin. Brit studied at the Staatliche Ballettschule Berlin and began her career at the Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin, where she became a soloist after one year and subsequently joined the Aalto ballett theater Essen and later joined the Ballett Nürnberg. In 2000 she made the decision to work with an array of choreographers and artists, among them Marco Santi, Christian Spuck, Nina Kurzeja, Efrat Stempler, Tomi Paasonen, Dansity Amsterdam, Helena Waldmann, MS Schrittmacher and Maya Matilda Carrol. From 2015-18 she was a member of the Dance On Ensemble under the artistic direction of Christopher Roman, initiated by Diehl+Ritter, where she has worked together with Matteo Fargion, Lucy Suggate, Rabih Mroué, Kat Valastur, William Forsythe, Deborah Hay, Jan Martens, Johannes Wieland and Ersan Mondtag. She has also been teaching and coaching for dance companies, at professional-level studios, and in university programs since 1999.
